💰 Work Part-Time & Earn Some Additional Income
Australia allows students to work part-time during their studies. Thus allocating free time outside of the classroom is an important topic for students who wish to study and work at the same time.
The amount of time a student can work is stated on the student visa issued by the Australian Embassy, which is effective from the date the visa is issued. In general, students are permitted to work no more than 20 hours per week.
In addition, students can ask for advice directly from their university on finding part-time work on or off campus.

International students are able to apply for the visa upon graduating from an Australian bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program, so long as the applicant meets all of the requirements set out by the embassy.
