Loughborough University is also known as Loughborough for short was established in 1909. Loughborough is one of the leading universities and renowned academic, research and its world-class sport. Furthermore, it has been ranked as Top 10 research universities in the UK by the REF in 2014.
Loughborough University has over 16,000 students, with 2,500 of them being international students from around 130 countries. The university has a wide range of facilities that are open to all students. Facilities include lecture theatres, laboratories, a major library and extensive IT network, an Arts Centre, two theatres, conference center, accommodation, restaurants, a bank, shops, a health center and Loughborough Students’ Union, which is owned and run by our students.
Every year Loughborough hosts the UK’s largest careers event, with over 150 companies coming onto campus for one day to meet with our students. This event is an invaluable opportunity for students to find out more about opportunities available to them.
