Location

Derby, England (UK)

The University of Derby has two campuses. Derby is the main campus and consists of four different areas: Kedleston Road (which is the largest, and where you will find the main library and most of the courses), Markeaton Street (art and design studios), Britannia Mill (dance and “fine art”) and One Friar Gate Square (located in the centre of Derby, and the base for studies such as law, criminology and social studies). Derby Business School is set to open in 2024, in the city centre.

Chesterfield campus is home to nursing courses. The university has its own bus that runs between the sites and the centre of Derby, and which is free for students to use.

Derby is a leading hi-tech and cosmopolitan city, home to global names such as Rolls-Royce, Toyota and Bombardier. With courses built with employability in mind it’s no surprise that 96% of Derby graduates are employed or studying 6 months after graduation (HESA). Graduate employability increased by 10% to 74.1%.
