We are therefore offering students the opportunity to take a pre-sessional course in Thailand which has been designed by a UK academic team and provides the same standard of teaching, assessment and certification.

If you apply for this pre-sessional course you will obtain a certificate from Kaplan International which is accepted by a number of universities, and you will be ready to start your degree, this year or next year.

• These are intensive courses which will help students to improve their English ability within a shorter time frame to meet the English requirement of your university offer
• The programme is designed and taught using a comprehensive curriculum. It includes English for Academic Purposes (EAP) covering listening, writing, reading and speaking skills as well as Academic and Study Skills. The Academic Skills module will help you to development knowledge and understanding of academic research,  familiarise yourself with the process of producing a research question, literature review and project plan. This is good opportunity for students to engage with their field of study
• Qualified and experienced teaching staff who have the same level of qualifications as teachers in the UK

Entry suitability

• The programme is suitable for all students who wish to take a pre-sessional course in preparation for their degree and who meet the entry standards for the programme
• The programme is suitable for students who hold a conditional offer at one of the UK universities listed and needs to meet the language requirements by using our pre-sessional result – you will not have to take any additional tests such as IELTS
• The programme is also open for students who already meet the English requirement on their offer. You will experience EAP, study skills and academic skills before studying in the UK which will provide an excellent platform for your degree studies
• Students can enter the programme using a wide range of language tests
• Students can also enter the programme using our in-house pre-test (at no cost) which will measure your language level and assess your suitability for the programme
