Choosing to work whilst studying can provide significant relief to many students by helping to cover some of their living expenses. In addition, those who choose to work, and study can gain useful life skills, such as problem solving, as well as practice using English in a work environment.
Canada allows international students to work part-time, both on and off campus, in positions such as:
- Bookkeeping
- Sales Assistant
- Customer Service Assistant
- Office Assistant
- Cook
- Program Facilitator
- Nanny
- Server/Bartender
- Dog Walker
