GCSE
GCSE or General Certificate of Secondary Education is compulsory for students in the United Kingdom, with 3 mandatory courses being English, Mathematics and Science, as well as 4-5 electives, such as a Foreign Language, Business, Technology or Music.
A-Levels
Afterwards, if students wish to continue their studies at university level or Higher Education or degree programme, they have to complete A-Levels.
A-Levels are a 2-year programme, whereby students must study subjects related to the field they wish apply for at university.
A-Levels can be split into AS-Level and A-Levels, where students can choose up to 5 subjects to study at AS-Level and then a minimum of 3 subjects in the second year for A-Levels.
Pathway Programme
International students, as well as students studying at Thai schools can study a pathway to build up their knowledge and skills, before applying to a UK university; whereby pathway courses are divided into different fields, such as Business, Engineering, Law etc.
