The UK Student Visa

Whether studying a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree or Doctorate degree in the United Kingdom, you have to apply for a Tier 4 (General) Student Visa.
In order to apply for a Tier 4 (General) Student Visa, you need to prepare the following documents:
- Current Passport
- Visa Application Form (print after filling out the application form online)
- IOM Certificate (confirming you are free from tuberculosis)
- ATAS Certificate (Academic Technology Approval Scheme certificate, for certain sensitive subjects)
To start the visa application process, simply fill out the application form online, pay the service fee and book an appointment; where they will take your photo and fingerprints, as well as possibly interview you. The review process usually takes up to 15 working days.
