Seattle Colleges

Seattle Colleges, a multi-college district, serves Seattle, Washington and its surrounding communities at three comprehensive college campuses and five specialty centers. For over 50 years, Seattle Colleges has welcomed students from across the United States and around the world for study in wide-ranging academic, vocational, and English language training programs. At Seattle Colleges, students have access to 135+ major subjects, including business, computer science, and engineering, as well as affordable tuition and small class sizes.

In the United States, studying at a community college is a very popular option. Each year, 45% of U.S. high school graduates and 85,000 international students choose to enroll at a community college rather than at a four-year college or university.  Seattle Colleges has four intakes per year (Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer quarters) and offers flexible, open admission to all students (yes, we accept Duolingo now score 90 for direct placement).

The 2+2 Transfer program gives you the option to start a bachelor’s degree in an affordable, close-knit environment. Save thousands of dollars by studying the first two years at Seattle Colleges while enjoying small class sizes and personal attention from instructors. After you complete your program, you may have the option to apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT) for up to 3 years.  You can repeat OPT again after completing your bachelor’s degree.

Did you know you can start college at 16 years old and automatically receive an American high school diploma?  Unique to Washington State, our High School Completion Plus program allows you to skip one or two years of high school and start your university studies right away. You can take full-time, dual credit classes at Seattle Colleges and earn college credits while completing requirements for a Washington state high school diploma at the same time. By choosing this option, you will earn both your high school diploma and associate transfer degree in two years, allowing you to earn your Bachelor’s degree by 19 or 20 years old.

Seattle Colleges’ staff are easily accessible and have worked with Hands On agency for many years, they are well trained in our processes and can’t wait to help you get started.
