In this event you will get to meet with Dr. Chong who is currently an Associate Professor and the Postgraduate Student Experience Director in the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Chong is a Chartered Engineer with the UK Engineering Council and has accrued over 20 years of HE teaching experience on a range of engineering subjects in 5 countries including the United Kingdom, Portugal, Malaysia, China, and the UAE. On the research front, Dr. Chong has over 20 years of involvement in primarily energy-based research work including NOx reduction in primary glass melters, efficiency enhancement in steel reheating furnaces and anaerobic digestion for green methane production with the UK and European industries. He has worked on research projects with total values of over £2M, published more than 50 scientific papers including a book chapter, co-own a patent and successfully supervised 7 PhD graduates and 5 post-doctoral fellows.
